Agriculture is one of the mainstays of the Nigerian economy, and we took at look at the latest Demographic and Health Survey for Nigeria to find out which state within the country had the highest proportion of its working population involved in the sector, and it turns out that its Benue state. This provided support to its claim as the food basket of Nigeria.
